Hendricks Therapy has an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Service Representative at our mental health private practice in Danville, IN.

Hendricks Therapy is expanding to meet the growing mental health needs in our community. We are looking for compassionate, driven, detail-oriented team members to assist us in our mission to increase accessibility to mental health care in central Indiana. 

You are the ideal candidate for this role if you have a heart to care for people and want a job doing something that makes a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for efficient, driven, and most importantly, compassionate candidates. Job Description:

  • Welcoming patients to the office

  • Patient check-in and check-out

  • Answering phone calls and returning messages

  • Monitoring patient text messages (overtime opportunities available for after-hours texting)

  • Communicating patient messages effectively to providers 

  • Updating patient information in charts

  • Collecting payments for services

  • Obtaining patient vital signs and/or urine drug screens as requested

  • Floating to our Plainfield and Avon offices on occasion is also a possibility

 Professional Qualifications:

A High School diploma or GED is required to apply. If you have higher education in Medical Assisting, Health Information Technology, Business, Communications, Hospitality or a related field, that is certainly is a plus! Previous medical office experience of at least one year is required. Strong typing ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office are necessary skills to have for this position.

Pay & Benefits:

This will be a full time job with opportunity for overtime. The salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience. Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance coverage is offered.
