Announcement Regarding Telehealth Appointments

    Soon, we will have a more convenient way for you to pay for your telehealth appointments. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, we are implementing a credit card on file payment policy. Starting on April 17th, we will require all telehealth patients to have a valid credit card on file with our practice.

    We want to assure you that your credit card information will be safely held on a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted gateway site. Our office personnel will not have access to your card, and for your protection, only the last 4 digits of your card will show in our system. Soon you will be receiving a Consent form to complete in order to initiate the process.

    Within 2 business days following your telehealth visit we will charge the card on file. Please know the amount charged will be determined after review of any co-pay, co-insurance, deductible still outstanding. Also, we will contact you for permission for any charges over $175. Should you wish us to email you a statement or your receipt please contact our offices.

    Please know that this in no way will compromise your ability to dispute a charge or question your insurance company’s determination of payment, and if necessary, we will issue a refund if an overpayment is made.
